Cheladv74 Shines Spotlight on Women Affected by Hemophilia
To commemorate World Hemophilia Day on April 17, and raise awareness of this debilitating condition, the World Federation of Hemophilia has chosen to shine a light on issues that uniquely impact women in the bleeding disorders community. Many women and girls are affected by hemophilia across the globe, and face very real and specific challenges as patients, mothers, sisters, spouses and advocates. To help bring this perspective to life, Cheladv74 Hemophilia recently brought together a virtual panel of people with hemophilia, advocates and mothers who shared their stories, discussed barriers they have encountered and shared their hopes for the future. We hope you will be as inspired by their stories as we were.
